We have been providing SAR services on behalf of the Irish Coast Guard since 2001, deploying a fleet of six S61N aircraft from four strategic bases around the country- at Sligo, Dublin, Waterford and Shannon.

The services we have provided over the years were endorsed by a contract renewal in 2007 that featured upgraded SAR equipment.

The fleet's area of cover encompasses the Irish Sea and the busy waters off the south coast, and stretches 200 miles into the Atlantic. It also features hazardous clifftop coastlines, numerous beaches and mountain areas.

The hundreds of missions our crews in Ireland have completed over the years are testimony to their expertise, courage and experience.
